Dura C. Cook, age 77, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away, Friday April 25, 2008 in Cobb County, GA.
She was born May 17, 1930 in Carroll County, GA to the late Fletcher Elbert Capes and Elsie Collier Capes. Mrs. Cook was a retired bus driver having worked for Douglas and Carroll County Schools for 20 years and was Baptist by faith.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her first husband Derrell Cook, husband Daniel G. Ifft, three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, brother and sister in-law Alvin and Rebecca Capes of Carrollton, very special friend Reba Doris Williams, four sister in-laws, six grandchildren and a number if nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 4:30 PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Marion Beavers officiating. Interment will be in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton, Ga
